The Vericon Foundation was established in 2015 to mark the 10th Anniversary of Vericon Construction Company as an avenue for giving back to the communities in which we work. The nonprofit foundation is dedicated to helping raise awareness and funds for local charitable causes, in addition to volunteering time and resources. Every year, Vericon Construction Company contributes a portion of its profits to help sustain the Vericon Foundation’s mission.

In July of 2018, Vericon’s employees gathered together one afternoon to make more than 500 lunches for The Elizabeth Coalition to House the Homeless, in order to help those struggling with homelessness in our community. Our team worked tirelessly to build sandwiches and pack them with fruit, granola bars, and water bottles into brown bags to be given to those in need. The Elizabeth Coalition to House the Homeless dedicates themselves to serving the needs of the homeless and Vericon was honored to work alongside them in their endeavors.
The Vericon Foundation hosted its second Charity Golf Outing on October 25th, 2017 at Echo Lake Country Club in Westfield, NJ. After a few close encounters with rain and some re-scheduling, we ended up scoring a beautiful sunny day on the course and it was a huge success. With the generous support of our subcontractors, vendors, and even some clients and architects, the Vericon Foundation raised a whopping $60,000 that was shared between two local charities, Imagine, A Center for Coping with Loss in Mountainside, NJ; and The Elizabeth Coalition to House the Homeless in Elizabeth, NJ.
In 2016, in its first full year of operation/existence, Vericon Foundation chose Boys & Girls Clubs of Union County, NJ, as recipient of its annual gift. This entailed a complete renovation and updating by Vericon staff of the club’s locker rooms.
To kick off the Vericon Foundation’s first year, an inaugural charity golf outing was hosted on September 8th, 2015 to benefit the Chi Chi Rodriguez Academy. Despite nearly record-high temperatures, over 100 golfers and volunteers, including pro golfer Chi Chi Rodriguez, were in attendance at Echo Lake Country Club in Westfield, NJ. Proceeds totaled $71,362, all of which was donated to the Chi Chi Rodriguez Academy for scholarships. The level of enthusiasm and support from sponsors surpassed all expectations, and the outing proved to be a successful and memorable inaugural event for the Vericon Foundation.
