Vericon Begins Monthly Sandwich-making Event for Charity

Beginning in March of 2021, Vericon’s employees have been coming together on a monthly basis to make sandwiches for donation to the St. Joseph Social Service Center’s Our Daily Bread Sandwich Program. The program provides lunches to members of our community who are facing food insecurities. With three highly successful events to date, Vericon has donated 580 sandwiches so far and looks forward to continually supporting the St. Joseph Social Service Center in their mission of providing the homeless in our community with the means necessary to live with integrity.

    Vericon Builds Sandwiches for Charity

In July of 2018, Vericon’s employees gathered together one afternoon to make more than 500 lunches for The Elizabeth Coalition to House the Homeless, in order to help those struggling with homelessness in our community. Our team worked tirelessly to build sandwiches and pack them with fruit, granola bars, and water bottles into brown bags to be given to those in need. The Elizabeth Coalition to House the Homeless dedicates themselves to serving the needs of the homeless and Vericon was honored to work alongside them in their endeavors.

Vericon Foundation 2017 Charity Golf Outing

The Vericon Foundation hosted its second Charity Golf Outing on October 25th, 2017 at Echo Lake Country Club in Westfield, NJ. After a few close encounters with rain and some re-scheduling, we ended up scoring a beautiful sunny day on the course and it was a huge success. With the generous support of our subcontractors, vendors, and even some clients and architects, the Vericon Foundation raised a whopping $60,000 that was shared between two local charities, Imagine, A Center for Coping with Loss in Mountainside, NJ; and The Elizabeth Coalition to House the Homeless in Elizabeth, NJ.
