Vericon Construction Company is pleased to announce two Senior Vice Presidents, Robert Mikell and Justin Hermey, have joined the firm’s Ownership Team.
Vericon’s founders, Charles DeAngelis, Stephen Mellett and Tricia Vohden, are thrilled to have Rob and Justin onboard to assist with leading company operations and achieving long-term goals.
“We have worked diligently over the last couple of years to develop a succession plan that allows for future owners to be cultivated from within the firm,” says Charles DeAngelis, Chief Executive Officer of Vericon Construction Company. “Though Steve, Tricia and my roles are unchanged, this has been a huge step towards implementing this plan and ensuring that our company culture and core values always remain.”
Meet Vericon’s Newest Owners: Robert Mikell has been with Vericon since 2010 and has held various roles in project management and executive leadership throughout his tenure.
With an extensive background in construction that began in the field, Rob’s impressive portfolio includes a full range of projects for leading national organizations. Rob has been instrumental in the day-to-day operations in the Northeast and will continue to expand his involvement, in addition to overseeing his project management teams.
Justin Hermey is based in Orlando, where he began in 2014 as the Regional Manager tasked with establishing the company’s first Florida office.
Since joining the team, Justin has been an integral part of Vericon’s expansion throughout the Southeast, including the opening of two additional office locations in Fort Lauderdale, FL and Atlanta, GA. Justin is primarily responsible for overseeing all four of Vericon’s regional offices.
Justin has more than 15 years of construction experience and obtained his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Hospitality Management from the University of Central Florida.
